Horses, Leadership and Life

Updated: Nov 5, 2023

Our farm is quiet again after another successful Greg Eliel clinic. As nice as it is to get back to normalcy around here, I can’t help but miss our growing clinic family. We had riders of all disciplines with different goals; we had horses of all shapes and sizes. But the shared goal amongst all was to better communicate, understand and work WITH their horses. No one was competing to win against anyone or be the star of the show. We were all working on being our own type of “better”, within ourselves, through our riding, for our horses.

I’ve learned a lot from Greg over the 15 years I have been lucky enough to know him, and this time has been no different. I’ve added so many more tools to my tool belt this past week from watching him work with people and horses. He has always opened my eyes to a deeper understanding of how certain horses “tick” and how people learn. Greg has left me this time with more patience, a bigger heart and better techniques that allows me to grow in what I do. Also to be able to effectively spread this philosophy of horsemanship in the industry with quiet dignity and grace, letting my happy horses speak for the effectiveness and success.

I am beyond blessed to have the community that we have created through these clinics with Greg and from the horses I am so lucky to get to work with. Thank you to everyone who came and mostly to Greg for continually believing in me and being a phenomenal role model for me growing up and now as a professional.

I am lucky to have the mentors I have, I am lucky to have the knowledge I have, and I am beyond lucky to have the unbelievable support that I have. Can’t wait for March 2024!
