Happy Horse. Happy Dog. Happy Human. There is so much importance in creating an environment where your horse can thrive and succeed and be happy! I say this all the time but I want my horses to enjoy and look forward to going to work with me; I want your horses to as well. That comes from communicating to them in a way that they understand and sets them up to learn without forcing them but first you have to learn them. Patience and listening are key in establishing this connection with any horse. Listen and let the horse tell you whats working and what isn’t. Some days you may have to switch your approach or change your plan and that’s okay.
